Masters Tournament

Sunday, April 14, Noon Shotgun

2012 Winner: Jim Judge
Format: Your net score combined with the Sunday score of a pro participating in the Masters Tournament in Augusta. (100% handicaps) When you check in, you will pull a name out of a hat, indicating your professional partner.

Play will be from the black tees (blue tees for ages 62+ with handicaps adjusted accordingly, or yellow/green for women), using drop areas at the gold tees on holes 1, 3, and 17 only. All putts must be holed. There is a maximun score of triple bogey on any hole.

Three Player Scramble - Make your own team! Each team must consist of an A player (handicap of scratch or higher), a B player (11 or higher handicap), and a C player (handicap of 20+). Here’s the kicker - A player plays from the black tees, B player plays from the blue tees, and C player tees it up from the green tees.
No restrictions on age, gender, or maximum total handicap
All teams are playing for low gross

We will announce the tee times as soon as we get all the entries in on Friday at 4 PM.

Bramble

Saturday, June 22, 8 AM Shotgun Start

Winners: Tim Cuthbert and Paul Rodrigues
Format: Two Player Teams with 50% Handicaps - Each player on the team hits a tee shot and the team selects the better shot of the 2. From that point, each player plays their own ball into the hole, and the team records the better net score of the two players.

Flag Tournament

Saturday, June 29, 8 AM Shotgun Start

Winner: Earl Owen
Format: Each player gets a number of strokes equal to their handicap plus 61 (course par). The player then has that many strokes to advance their flag the farthest around the course. For example, if I am an 18 handicap, I get 79 strokes, and I plant my flag where my ball lands after my 79th swing. Whoever advances their ball the farthest, wins.

Senior Club Championship

Monday, August 5, during league play

Winner: Paul DeChambeau
Format: Open to anyone who plays in the Monday League, plus any Season Pass Holders, Associate Members, Weekday Pass Holders, Past Champions, and League Members who are at least 50 years old. The Championship will be 18 holes from the blue tees. There will also be a Super Senior Division for ages 65+.
Sign-up Deadline: No need to sign up, but if you are playing before 2 PM, you should call and make a tee time.
Entry Fees: Normal league green fees - $32 for 18 holes with a cart and dinner or $5 lunch credit.
Prizes: Each player must put $5 into the normal Monday League Prize pool for quota and birdies. If they also want to participate in the Senior Championship, they must pay an additional $5 into that prize pool.

Scotch Tournament

Saturday, August 10, 8 AM Shotgun Start

Format: 2 Player Teams - Both players hit from the tee, and then alternate shots after selecting the better of the 2 tee shots. For example, if Willie Stearns and Eric Fernandez were a team, they would obviously use Willie's tee shot, but then Eric would have to hit the next shot.

Format: Open to anyone who plays in the Women's league. The Championship will be 18 holes from the yellow tees. For players who cannot play 18 holes, there will be 2 closest to the pin contests on each nine.
Sign-up Deadline: No need to sign up, but if you are playing before 2 PM, you should call and make a tee time.
Entry Fees: Normal league green fees - $28 for 9 holes, or $38.50 for 18 holes.
Prizes: Normal Women's League Prizes - $2.50 per player

Club Championship - 36 Holes, Black Tees

Round 1: Tuesday, August 20 during League Play
Round 2: Saturday, August 24, 8 AM Shotgun Start

Winner: Tim Cuthbert
Format: Open to Season Pass Holders, Associate Members, Weekday Pass Holders, Past Champions, and League Members who have played at least 8 times this year. 36 hole championship with gross and 100% net prizes. The club champion is the low gross winner.
Foursomes will be seeded according to low score in the first round for the Saturday start.
Sign-up Deadline: Tuesday, August 20
Entry Fees: On Tuesday, pay your regular league fees, and play whenever it is convenient for you. If you wish to participate in the Club Championship, you should also pay an additional $10 (non-refundable) into the Club Championship prize pool. On Saturday the entry fee will be: Season Pass Holders - $10, Associate Members, Weekday Pass Holders - $35, and League Members - $40, which includes greens fees and lunch after golf. At that time, you may pay an additional $5 into the birdie pool if you want.

Sign-up Deadline: Wednesday, September 12 - Please sign up early, because we can only accommodate the total number of players in multiples of 4 because of the format. The last players to sign up will be removed first if we need to make the numbers work out.
Entry Fees: Season Pass Holders - $20, Weekday and Associates - $70, League Members - $80, includes 36 Holes, Cookout Sunday Afternoon, and a Ryder Cup Polo Shirt
